Eggs Over Easy
I love eggs. For me, eggs over easy have been a challenge for me. So I thought I'd share my recipe with you and let you watch me make a few mistakes. I'm no chef, but I've been making these eggs for years, and they always taste good, even if I mess them up a little. Add a slice of toast or a fresh croissant and you will have an amazing little breakfast.
Here's what you'll need:
2 eggs
1 tablespoon butter(I used oil and butter in the video, I would stick with the butter though)
Salt and pepper to taste
Here's how to make them:
-
Heat the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. I like this Tfal Professional Nonstick Fry Pan Nonstick 12 and a half Inch
-
Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
-
Cook the eggs for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny.
-
Serve immediately.
Here are a few tips:
-
To make sure the eggs don't stick to the pan, make sure the pan is hot before adding the butter.
-
If you want to cook the eggs for a longer period of time, reduce the heat to low.
-
You can also add a splash of hot sauce if you want here is my favorite Frank's Red Hot.
I hope you enjoy these eggs as much as I do!
P.S. I'm not perfect, so sometimes I mess up the eggs. But that's okay, because they still taste great!
